Bertotti is an award-winning family business, consisting of Diego Alfonso and his wife, Suzana Bertotti. Diego and Suzanna met in London and became inspired by their love and passion for gelato and food. In 2012, they decided open their first Gelato store in Hammersmith Grove, combining classic Italian styling with an American twist.
After opening, Bertotti quickly became a local favourite and in 2015 we successfully opened our second branch on Goldhawk Road which is also our creamery. Here we hand make all of our delicious flavours that have become hugely popular! In 2021, we received the ‘West London Business of the Year’ award as well as two stars on ‘Great Taste’.
Some of our customers include The Phoenix, located at West London’s Westfield Shopping Centre, and Chotto Matte (named one of the top ten luxurious restaurants in London) who infuse a variety of our different flavours in their dessert menu, such as organic green tea, black sesame, lemon and cucumber, vegan coconut and salted caramel biscoff. Also Lily Vanilli Bakery which distributes an exclusively developed absinthe and mint chocolate chip gelato at the Royal Theatre Drury Lane's luxurious afternoon tea, which has been attended by His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
On top of creating and selling gelato since 2012, we have also studied at the best University of Gelato in the world, Carpigiani University in Bologna, Italy.
We offer a variety of vegan, gluten free and no-added-sugar gelato, and we can also develop any flavour according to your professional and business requirements. We then create it in our gelato laboratory, located in Shepherds Bush, West London, and deliver it fresh to your restaurant.
Our Gelato ingredients are sourced from carefully selected suppliers to ensure that each order is produced to the best quality.
