Judy Joo
Trained in France and now based in both London and New York, Judy Joo’s culinary influence spans the globe. The Korean-American chef, restaurateur food writer and TV personality has come to be regarded as a leading expert on Korean cookery, thanks to her TV series Korean Food Made Simple. Joo has also made appearances on shows including Saturday Kitchen, The Today Show and Cooking with the Stars, while her articles have appeared in publications such as the Financial Times, National Geographic and The Guardian. In 2011, she won Iron Chef UK before becoming a resident judge on Iron Chef America, and is the author of two cookery books — Korean Food Made Simple and Judy Joo’s Korean Soul Food.
