Ross Clarke
Ross Clarke is an award-winning travel, food and wine communicator, specialising in Wales and Spain. He’s written articles and guidebooks for publications including the BBC, The Times, The Independent and Lonely Planet, as well as being a former editor for British Airways and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Ross has presented the Wine and Spirits Theatre at the National Geographic Traveller (UK) Food Festival for multiple years and holds the WSET Level 2 in wines. He’s also a regular judge for the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste awards, the Guild of Beer Writers awards and more. Alongside his writing and presenting, he’s a lecturer on the MA in magazine journalism course at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Culture, and runs a Substack newsletter, The Welsh Kitchen, celebrating culinary culture in Wales and around the world.
