April Jackson

Former Miss Jamaica Universe and self-taught chef, food writer and television personality April Jackson has appeared on MasterChef, Sunday Brunch, Cooking with the Stars, This Morning and The Apprentice, and at Taste of London. Raised in Jamaica, she has lived in France, New York and London, bringing an international flavour to her cooking. She launched Three Little Birds – her ‘Caribbean tapas’ restaurant, centred on sharing plates, warm hospitality and rum-based cocktails – in London in 2015, and added a second location three years later. She’s since relaunched Three Little Birds as Wood and Water, serving modern British cuisine with Jamaican soul, and opened the cocktail bars SideChick, Batanga and ABV.
