Ravneet Gill

Ravneet is a pastry chef, author and broadcaster. In addition to her regular column in Guardian Feast, she’s contributed to publications such as The Telegraph and Observer Food Monthly, while her third book, Baking for Pleasure, was published in 2023. Her TV credits include Channel 4’s Junior Bake Off and Remarkable Places to Eat, plus Channel 4 & Netflix’s Five Star Kitchen. Trained at renowned cookery school Le Cordon Bleu, she has worked for restaurants such as St John, Llewelyn’s, Jamavar, Black Axe Mangal and Wild by Tart. Meanwhile, in 2018, she created Countertalk – a platform designed to help connect chefs, provide education and promote healthy work environments in hospitality – while the following year she set up Puff, a pop-up bakery and online bakery school.
