
Romy Gill
Romy Gill is a British-Indian chef, presenter and food writer. Until recently, she was the owner and head chef of Romy's Kitchen near Bristol. Romy regularly contributes to The Guardian, along with The Sunday Times, BBC Food and The Telegraph.
On TV, Romy is a regular guest on James Martin’s Saturday Morning and she’s also appeared on Celebrity MasterChef, The Hairy Bikers’ Comfort Food, Countryfile and James Martin’s Great British Adventure. Romy is the recipe columnist for The Independent online and travels all over the world teaching cookery classes and speaking at events. She’s also a presenter on BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme and has been a judge for the show’s Food and Farming Awards. Romy is the author of Zaika: Vegan Recipes from India and her latest book, On the Himalayan Trail: Recipes and Stories from Kashmir to Ladakh, is out soon.
