Theo first joined The River Cafe in 1989. After a brief stint in California at Chez Panisse under Alice Waters, he returned to London to take up the role of head chef at The River Cafe, where he remained for the next 15 years. In 2006, Theo launched his first restaurant, Theo Randall at the InterContinental. The chef’s TV appearances have included Saturday Kitchen, as well as MasterChef, Sunday Brunch, The Chef’s Protege and My Kitchen Rules. His fifth and latest cookbook, Verdura, was published in 2024.
