Having helped to prepare Thai and Chinese-inspired dishes throughout her childhood, Yui has always seen cooking and eating as at the heart of family life. In 2019, she showcased her culinary skills on MasterChef UK, in which she reached the quarter finals. That same year, she founded the food business Crying Tiger Cafe before going on to win the national Inspiring Culinary Generations (ICG) Cookery Competition in 2020. Published in September 2023, Yui's first recipe book, Thai Made Easy, is an accessible guide to cooking flavoursome Thai dishes at home.
