Zuza Zak
During her childhood in Poland, Zuza Zak’s grandmother taught her to cook and forage. Now, the self-proclaimed ‘storyteller-cook’ is using cookery to teach people about her nation’s history and culture, and also hopes to inspire others to cook and eat Eastern European cuisine. She has written four recipe books: Polska, Amber & Rye, Pierogi and Slavic Kitchen Alchemy. The latter, released in October 2023, is an exploration of the herbs, myths and folk customs of the Slavic countries.
