In the Speakers’ Corner, food meets storytelling in a series of live sessions designed to inform, inspire, and spark conversation. Throughout the festival weekend, authors and chefs will join us in this intimate setting to explore the deeper narratives behind what we eat — from heritage and migration to memory, identity and place.
For 2025, we’re proud to present a compelling line-up of voices shaping the food conversation today. On Saturday, hear from Irina Georgescu, champion of Eastern European cuisine and culinary history; Jess and Jo Edun, the sisters behind The Flygerians and their fresh take on Nigerian food culture; and Christina Soteriou, whose work honours the flavours and stories of Cypriot cooking. On Sunday, join Tim Anderson, celebrated author and specialist in Japanese cuisine, as he shares insights on the power of cross-cultural flavour.
Each talk opens a window into how food connects us to our roots, our communities and our evolving world — offering festivalgoers the chance to go beyond the plate and into the heart of food culture.
Join us at London’s Business Design Centre on 19–20 July 2025. Tickets are on sale now via See Tickets.
