At Speakers’ Corner, food and storytelling come together. Across the festival weekend, leading authors, chefs, and food experts take to the stage to share the inspiration behind their work, explore culinary traditions, and discuss the deeper stories behind what we eat.
For 2025, we’re welcoming an exciting line-up of voices shaping the food world today. On Saturday, join Irina Georgescu, an advocate for Eastern European cuisine; Jess and Jo Edun (The Flygerians), the duo behind modern Nigerian dining; Chetna Makan, known for her vibrant Indian-inspired cookery; and Christina Soteriou, whose work celebrates Cypriot heritage and flavours. On Sunday, expect insights from Tim Anderson, the chef, author, and expert in Japanese cuisine.
Each session offers a unique perspective on food, identity, and culture, providing festivalgoers with the chance to engage in meaningful conversations beyond the plate.
